Blue Mountain Park

Originally part of Van Cortlandt Manor, the Blue Mountain Reservation land was purchased by Westchester county in 1927. The park today offers picnicking, fishing, a playground, and archery and shooting ranges, as well as being nationally known as a mountain biking center. All trails are open for hiking, and many are wide forest roads, offering plenty of room for bikers and hikers.

The park is open 7 days, 8 AM to dusk.
